5/2/24 - navigating nekoweb
this is a lot easier than i thought! coding is something that's always seemed really intimidating, but i'm managing just fine on my own! thank you w3 schools truly its a lifesaver.
i got a lot done today! i made the site (and its main page) yesterday, and today i added a lot more to it! i added the about page, the links on the side, my site button, the little container at the bottom, and now this very blog post!
this is really easy to do. i'd barely done anything in the field of webdev before yesterday and i'm not the best at learning things at all but fan did an AMAYZING job showing me what i was doing. i think i could code an entire video game now
this isn't exactly my first time having a personal website! i have a neocities that i had made using a template last year, but i had no idea what i was doing and frankly i am afraid to touch that page again!
the only other times ive ever touched any kind of code was for custom tumblr blog themes, and that used to be like. the end of my life it was SO hard to figure out cause no one was there to teach me.
this is a massive eye opener, maybe? what do people add to these websites? what do i do??? how do i join a webring?? everything is so new to me i am overwhelmed. maybe i can join as many webrings as possible. i'll join so many of them my site won't open.
am i being overambitious? maybe. i don't know the etiquette of the world of personal websites and its driving me NUTS! it's my first day of gay school i hope they don't realize im straight /ref
this is such a long blog entry cause i truly have no idea what im doing! what do i add tomorrow? what do i put on the site?? i know i just asked all of these questions but im like a fish out of water okay.
i signed up to make a status cafe account thing, hopefully that goes through!
making the guestbook was kind of fun, the site is really cute and i made the guestbook cute as well!
also i have a follower?! i don't know exactly what that means on nekoweb or why i have one but thanks for following me petal :)
